The official ticket system currently releases the full month two months ahead at 12:00 on the 15th of each month. If the 15th falls on a weekend or public holiday, the sale is moved to the previous weekday. Sales are first-come, first-served and stop when each date and time slot reaches capacity.
The bigger catch is flexibility: after purchase, the official ticket cannot be cancelled or moved to another date or time for personal reasons. That makes the itinerary decision more important than saving a small amount between platforms.

The official game-area notice is easy to misread. Meatball Korogashi and the spider-web catcher can be played repeatedly, but each play costs ¥700. Every replay means queueing again and paying another ¥700; “unlimited plays” does not mean free unlimited games.
Two different games once each adds ¥1,400 to the visit. Photo-focused visitors can skip that cost entirely, while prize hunters should budget beyond the admission ticket before deciding whether the experience is still good value.

The official goods page says some Park merchandise began moving to the official Chiikawa Market online store in 2026. The physical shop still matters for the in-person experience and stock can differ, but “I only want the goods” is no longer enough reason by itself to buy admission.

The park still shows 10:00–21:00 with 19:00 last entry for the current schedule, but the official news page has already posted an operating-hours change starting September 1, 2026. For a September visit, use the official park notice as the source of truth rather than assuming the all-year hours shown on a ticket marketplace are still current.

The official ticket guidance says there are no coin lockers inside the park, so large luggage should go to nearby storage. Strollers cannot be brought inside; temporary stroller storage may be available but is limited. The ticket purchaser also needs to be present and the group must enter together.
